Rather than attempting to automate the full market discovery process, this approach uses AI as a trigger mechanism for human investigation. The system monitors for predefined signal clusters — simultaneous pricing pressure across a competitor segment, or an unusual concentration of talent movement into a particular vertical — and when those clusters form, it routes the signal to a specific person with a defined investigation protocol. The AI handles breadth; the human handles depth.
This is more tractable than expecting AI to derive conclusions autonomously, and it preserves the interpretive layer that actually adds strategic value.
